The ad insert that can be found in the Tri-City Herald today runs through March 21.

Here are some things that caught my eye. Keep in mind prices are if you use your PetSmart’s PetPerks card.

My WinCo (Kennewick) shopping trip

My eldest daughter was in a talent show contest last night at her high school so after the event I went to the Kennewick WinCo to do a bit of shopping since I had a ton of coupons that were to expire last night. I think I did pretty well, not as good as at Albertsons but still it wasn’t too shabby.

Number of items bought: 90
Coupons used: 25
Spent: $81.33
Saved: $26.71

I also found out that the Kennewick WinCo does NOT accept internet printable coupons that are “B1G1 Free” or “FREE”. Albertsons will take an internet printable that’s for a free item with purchase but not a “free” item without a purchase. This means that the Nabisco cookie coupon cannot be used at WinCo (least not at the Kennewick store) so if you’re able to get one next month from Nabisco’s Facebook page then you’ll have to use it at Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Walmart or Target. I’m not sure about Yoke’s or Safeway.

Save $7 on Band-Aids and Neosporin @ Walgreens

I’m sitting here going through my coupon books (yes I have two binders full of coupons) and I realized that I have a few coupons that I can stack and use at Walgreens.

The first coupon came from the February 21st Smart Source coupon insert. It expires March 31 and you get $3 off when you buy one Neosporin and one Band-Aid product (excluding trial).

The other two actually came from the Walgreen’s Children Activity Book that I bought in December for 99 cents. These expire March 30th and both are for $2 off each product. Save $2 off (REGULAR RETAIL PRICE) Neosporin ointment, cream or spray. The other is also $2 off (REGULAR RETAIL PRICE) Band-Aid Adhesive Bandages 20 or 25 licensed characters.

Off hand I don’t know what the final price will be but since I’m heading to Albertsons this evening I’ll stop off across the street and check (plus they’re the only place that sells the root beer I love so much). Still those three coupons equal SEVEN DOLLARS ($7) in SAVINGS.

Press problems @ The Tri-City Herald

The TCH experienced press problems (again) this morning so many carriers didn’t get their papers until after 6:30 AM. Thankfully my daughter’s route only consists of 24 customers on a weekday so with my help she was able to get the papers out by 6:50 AM (she picked her papers up @ 6:40 AM when her driver called to say he was on his way).

So for those of you who subscribe to the Tri-City Herald and haven’t received your paper by 7:30 AM please call the TCH after 8 AM since your carrier may still be out delivering depending on how many people are on his/her route.
